What does it really mean to follow Jesus?

In this message, we explore the idea that following Jesus is not just about attending church or believing the right things—it’s about choosing who and what shapes our lives. Every day, we follow influences: people, media, voices, and values that slowly form who we are becoming.

Through Scripture and personal stories, we are reminded that followers become like the ones they follow. Jesus calls us not only to believe in Him, but to walk with Him, learn from Him, and allow His character to shape our choices.

Drawing from passages like Philippians 4:6–8, Mark 1:16–20, and John 14:6, this message challenges us to evaluate our influences, remove what pulls us away from Christ, and intentionally follow the One who leads us to life, peace, and transformation.
